Friends of india foundation works on the solar energy as Solar Panels convert the Sun’s light in to usable solar energy using N-type and P-type semiconductor material.
When sunlight is absorbed by these materials, the solar energy knocks electrons loose from their atoms, allowing the electrons to flow through the material to produce electricity.
Solar Energy is a renewable free source of energy that is sustainable and totally inexhaustible.

Friends of india foundation has done lot of work on Solar Projects at various places within India.
We have installed and commissioned solar power plant and provided electricity to those villages, where electricity was not available since independence, our aim is to provide basic facilities like water, electricity to the poor villagers who lives in forest area. We have electrified more than 35-40 villages in Bihar & Jharkhand.
